A beloved annual tradition is returning to the streets of Chino this spring, where vintage vehicles and motorcycle enthusiasts will gather for a day filled with nostalgia and automotive admiration. The Corn Feed Run Car Show and Cruise, masterminded by Walt Pocock, showcases a stunning array of classic automobiles, including his own cherished 1956 Ford F-100 pickup. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, April 26, along Central Avenue adjacent to the Chino Civic Center.
The festivities kick off early in the morning at 8 a.m., offering participants and spectators an opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities throughout the day. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., car enthusiasts can cruise down a specially designated 19-block route while soaking in live music performances. Following the cruising segment, an open-header contest will take center stage from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., adding another layer of excitement to the program. Additionally, vendors will be on hand to provide unique merchandise for attendees.
This event not only celebrates the beauty and craftsmanship of older vehicles but also fosters a sense of community among those who share a passion for motoring history. Registration remains open to all vehicles manufactured in or before 1976, motorcycles of any era, and large trucks—excluding trailers. Participants are encouraged to sign up ahead of time for a fee of $40; however, late registrants on the day of the event will pay $45. With its vibrant atmosphere and engaging activities, this gathering serves as a testament to the enduring appeal of classic cars and the camaraderie they inspire. Visitors are invited to join in what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
